What an amazing Turks and Caicos Wedding! This is the love story of Brandy and Christian: like in a fairytale, the “bad guy” entered their lives, but they stuck together and surpassed every difficulties with their love.

Family and friends traveled to the islands to join the celebration and bless the couple with joy, beauty, laughters, dances, cheers and so much fun.  We know the best is yet to come, but right now a first dream got ticked on the bucket list: they got married in one of the best beaches in the world, Grace Bay.

The Story… hear it from the Bride

“We met about 8 years ago while we were both in the Navy reserves.  We have definitely had our fair share of trials and tribulations but stuck with each other through it all.  Christian was my rock when my dad passed away unexpectedly.  Soon after I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have chemotherapy and multiple surgeries.  He kept me going and is the most authentic and loyal person I know.  He always seems to make me laugh even when I am down.  

Once I finished my chemo and surgeries we got engaged and started planning our destination wedding.  I had never been to Turks and Caicos but have heard that it’s the best beach so that’s how we ended up on Grace Bay!  In the midst of planning, we found out Christian was getting deployed to Kuwait for 8-9 months.  We decided to sign paperwork to legalize our marriage before he left but still planned to have our celebration when he returned.  We figured we had earned it 😂”

Steve, the couple’s friend, happily agreed to celebrate the ceremony at one condition: he had to take a selfie to update his “officiant” status on Facebook 😉

“Turks and Caicos exceeded our expectations in every way!  It was nice to not only have a wedding day but a whole wedding week for ourselves and our guests.  We wanted to have a celebration with closest friends and family, especially after everything we have been through.  Most importantly we wanted to just have fun.  We definitely had the time of our lives!”.
