Relax, grab a cup of coffee (preferably Colombian), forget your reality and enjoy a journey of Colombia through my eyes. With over 48 million people, Colombia is a country rich of tradition, history, contrasts, vibrant urban life, stunning natural parks, and an amazing cultural heritage.
Ecologically, Colombia is one of the world’s 17 megadiverse countries, and it’s considered the most biodiverse per square km.  The nation is a middle power with the third largest economy in Latin America. Forget the bad reputation, this nation is fascinating and full of surprises.
Colours, colours and more colours
Bogota: over the cloud of pollution, a blue sky and a new hope
Art is everywhere: Fernando Botero, the most recognised and quoted living artist from South America, is originally from Medellin.
As much as I love his work, I’m glad I’m not one of his muses 😉
Street Art - Colombia has embraced it as the artistic expression of its people. The huge graffitis are unbelievable!
The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira is an underground catholic church built within the tunnels of a salt mine 200 meters underground in a Halite mountain. The pictures don’t give justice to this enormous and sacred place…
The Coffee Triangle in the Paisa region – everywhere you look: coffee
Need a break?!? La Finca Agroturistica El Palmar is the perfect place
Playing with the sun flare…
Cocora Valley = palm trees 65 meters high
My favourite place: Guatape. Climbing the “Penol” 750 steps is mandatory – the pay off: the most stunning view and a well deserved double ice-cream 🙂
No trip could be perfect without the best travel companion, dearest friend and wonderful woman: Mrs Chrystel Loyer-Kendrew
Welcome to Cartagena, the colombian’s UNESCO World Heritage Site
I’m a people photographer: the human being mesmerise, inspire, fascinate and surprise me every day.
The venerated Colombian beauty has big curves, long hair, and lots of plastic surgery. I found beauty elsewhere, in the real essence of men, women, kids and their stories…
What do you think he is cultivating?!? Coffee, just coffee.
Look at this perfectly organised mess!
He taught me how to create potteries…
Not the “Gost” experience, but pretty fun 😉
 Nap time
I’m in love with those faces
My friends Greg and Lauren once wrote: “You’ve been to more cool places and countries then the Olympic Torch!”. Well I’m working on it : Colombia marked my 43rd visited country – so many more to go!
A special thanks to Lori and the Condor Travel team for helping us organising this unforgettable trip.
