Fabulous: it’s the best world to describe Sheena and Chad’s wedding at Villa Mandalay Turks and Caicos. An exclusive location, where fantasy is reality, a stunning couple, a fun bridal party, delightful guests and a fairytale lovestory.
When I think I’ve seen it all, a wedding like this come along and I’m completely enchanted. I first met Sheena, Kay (her mom) and Mandi (her sister) during their island site inspection, and it was “love at first sight”: I liked every idea, detail and choice they made, but more important, I liked their genuine, sweet and beautiful personalities. In a matter of minute they welcomed me to the family, as I’ve been part of it forever. Then came Chad, his family, the surprises of the special day, and the wedding became my favorite event ever.
Good to know: Wedding coordinator: Luise, Nila Destinations; catering: Kissing Fish; flowers: Flowers by EA; makeup artist: Shenique, Sheque Perfection; DJ: DJÂ Dayoh.
Perched on a windswept dune in south-eastern Providenciales, overlooking the rugged limestone terrain, the dark, irisrimmed horizon and pristine white sands of Long Bay Beach, stands Mandalay
Diamonds, lace, tulle, rose petals…
Gorgeous!!!
Mr GQ
I loved the “first look” behind the wall. Sheena and Chad hold hands, exchanged love notes, said a prayer, reserving the real first look for the ceremony
On my way to the beach, I took a sneak peek at the reception site – wow!
Long Bay is a kite boarding paradise: the shallow water and strong winds attract kiters from all over the world. But it’s also perfect spot for a fabulous wedding
Strong wind and long hair… it can be fun!
The sun set on the opposite side of the island, but the twilights glow illuminated the Long Bay sky
The night comes and the magic continues
