On August 7th I turned 40 – wow! Time flies by and I’m getting old by my love for life and this amazing world gets bigger every day. My Dream (yes, with a capital “D”) is to visit and explore every corner of this amazing planet, embracing the culture, traditions, lifestyle. A trip in Nicaragua is the best present I gave myself, ever. If being 40 means climbing volcanos, swimming in the pacific, eating fresh fruits and fish daily, spend quality time with my favourite man in the world and be a little crazy, well, I’m up for it 😉
Leon: city of colours, history, faith.
Time to climb a volcano with the best guide ever, Mr Andy Rodriguez
2 hours to go up… and less then a minute to slide down
 The big great Pacific
Lake Nicaragua – the creepy atmosphere…
…changes with an unique smile. The people truly make the nation: friendly, kind and happy.
 Granada – stunning!
Among las Isletas de Granada (365 small islands) we discovered Monkey Island
 The beautiful Casa del Agua
 Canopy tour – Nica style!
Off to Ometepe: on island, two volcanos.
San Juan del Sur, where every surfer is blessed by the Christ statue (85 feet).
I can’t take the credit for all the pictures, thank you Eric of sharing the camera with me. When do we leave again?!?
