“We like to explore and wanted to get some top favorite recommended things to do and places to see. Any recommendations?”.

If you want to do some island hopping, I strongly recommend to visit North and Middle Caicos“.

A simple conversation casually started via email, transformed itself into an amazing experience, for both my couple and I. After the scheduled 3 hours honeymoon shoot in Provo, we agreed to meet again and spend an extra day exploring, laughing, story-telling and capturing a collection of fantastic photos in North and Middle Caicos. What a treat!

Meagan and Terence married on May 26th 2019, but had to wait almost two years to enjoy their honeymoon. When the time came, they made sure to make the best of it. That included treasuring their love and friendship forever with a collection of beautiful photos. On Day 1 we shot in Grace Bay and Leeward, two of my favourite beaches on the island of Providenciales.

On Day 2, we started our adventure in North Caicos. First stop Whitby Beach: the largest continuous beach on the island, with white sand and clean water.

Stop two: Horse Stable beach. I love the dock and its leading lines, as well as the beautifully kept green park adjacent to the beach.

Meagan and Terence love to dance together and they are so good at it! Photographing their moves was so much fun.

Stop 3: the causeway. North and Middle Caicos are connected by a mile long (1.6 km) road, surrounded by turquoise water.

Terence is a Captain in the army and a proud police man: his profession inspired me to photograph him in a strong pose, right in the middle of the causeway.

Stop 4: Indian Cave. Found off the main road into Middle Caicos, Indian Cave is a large single gallery cave with many openings and skylights. It was created by what is called the Karst process: the slow action of slightly acidic rain water dissolving the soft limestone as it drained to the water table.

I’m always looking for something “different” and this location is just perfect.

Stop 5: Mudjin Harbor.: the high limestone cliffs, Dragon Cay, sea caves, and turquoise hues of the breath-taking Mudjin Harbour is considered to be one of the finest landscapes in the Turks and Caicos. Incredible at any time, the vistas here are especially impressive when the ocean swell is high.

I had a wonderful feeling about the couple from my first conversation on the phone with Terence and I was so right. They are two amazing humans, beautiful on the outside and even much better in the inside.

To don’t part too soon (because 1.5 day were just not enough) we also capture a few quick pictures at sunset: not the most colorful, but nevertheless spectacular.
