A look back at the past: April 2010 – Peru’. It was and it will always be one of the best trip of my life: an amazing country, full of vibrant colours, history, amazing people and breathtaking sceneries.
Known across the world for the mystical UNESCO World Heritage site of Mach Pichu, Peru’ has so much to offer to a curios and interested traveller. From the desert and oasis of Lima, at sea level, to the plateau of Puno, at 4338m (over 14.232f), from the floating Uros Islands on Lake Titicaca, to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Delicious food, colourful art and craft, friendly smiles and so much beauty.
Day 1: Lima
2 it’s  better then 1: my best friend and travel companion, Chrystel
I love the contrast of the desert, the oasis, the mountains and the city art
Even the “policia” is cool!
Lake Titicaca: the floating of the Huros
The history of this people and their style of life it’s unbelievable
People: always my favourite subject
Taquile Island – 13.000 feet above sea level
Ollantaytambo – Urumba Valley
I LOVE South American markets! So full of life, beautiful faces and objects.
The little boy could just not hold it anymore… oh well, it was raining and it washed it off 😉
Cuzco – stunning by day, enchanted by night
And finally: Machu Picchu
A special thank you to Viviana and PeruTourism for helping us planning this amazing journey

Beautiful photos. A reminder of a wonderful place that I visited several times, but never ventured beyond Lima.
