Last Saturday, June 24th 2017, the Provo Performing Arts School presented their  Third Annual Summer Showcase, at Brayton Hall, Providenciales. What a show!
All students are given the opportunity to show the local community, as well as their friends and family how much they’ve learnt. From toddlers to teenagers, the little performers wore their dancing shoes and colorful costumes, making the audience marvel, applaud, laugh, dance in the seat.
Niki Flower, the amazing teacher, has the talent of professional dancer and the patience of a saint. A special thank you to: Turks & Caicos Friends of the Arts, to all the helper, to the great parents that believe in the magic of art.
“(Performing Arts are) not only for those that want to go on the stage; performing arts stimulate all children’s creativity. It helps them make sense of their emotions, develops their ability to understand, allows them to face their fears in a safe environment, challenges their preconceptions about the world in which they live, develops their aesthetic sense, develops their language and communication skills, introduces new ideas to them and allows them to express opinions.â€- Maggie Kinloch
