What’s your biggest passion? Mine is to travel. I live by the quote of Susan Sontag: “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list“.
The latest journey took me the beautiful Puerto Rico: an island full of history and art, a territory with a landscape of green mountain, waterfalls and tropical forest, gorgeous beaches, coral reefs, surfing and sailing. A 2 hours flight from the Turks and Caicos with interCaribbean, and the splendour of the Puerto Rico welcomes you with charm and variety.
A few fun facts about Puerto Rico: it’s basically 70-80 degrees all year around; it has the world’s largest telescope; Â there are 270 miles of Beaches; 5 Miss Universe winners are from Puerto Rico; it’s a spelunker’s playground;Â there is never a shortage of rum… I loved the waves and the secluded coves – what about you?

I’m taking all the credit but the amazing aerial shots are Eric’s work, my parter in crime… or better love!
Mesmerised by the North Coast
El Yunque Forest – the only tropical rain forest in the United States National Forest System
The East Coast wasn’t bad either 😉
It wouldn’t be a modern-day-blog without a selfie!
Mail Boxes – my new favourite subject
Old San Juan:Â over 500 years of history, beautiful colonial architecture liberally splashed with tropical colours, and a timeless magic that makes it one of the most enchanting destinations in the Caribbean. We could (and have) spend many happy hours just walking around the walled city.
A local iguana… or a baby dragon?!?
Every image has a story: according to you, is the pigeon on the right a jealous spinster, a careful mom, or a naughty voyuer? The votes are open, write them on the comment box
I’m always fascinated by the street people, the ones that give up a life under a roof and choose to sleep under the stars. Check out the details: the chained cart, the doll, the kids toys, the roasted chicken, the canes, the bottles… a fun mobile home

And finally a few more bird-eye-view shots

What amazing photos!!! You inspire me to go to Puerto Rico. And beyond!
I think that perhaps the pigeon on the right is a worried careful mother. We worry about our children, no matter what age they are.
