family_vacation_turksKids, babies and teenagers are often featured on my blog, but I often photograph "adults only" Turks & Caicos family vacation. Ashlin treated her beautiful daughters, partners and friends to a memorable week at Villa Ponte del Sogno in Silly Creek, Providenciales. What a perfect way to take a break from the winter and enjoy the hot sunshine of the Caribbean! We started the photo shoot an hour before sunset, on the unique ponte (bridge) at the entrance of the villa: the shaded area and filtered backlight were ideal for some soft portraits. Then we headed to the ocean front area, to capture the water, the sunset and more gorgeous smiles. The challenge of standing on the rocks was so worth!

Attimi_wedding"I get trapped by Susie's beauty each day, I am almost always late to work in the morning as a result :-)" - Lee Ting I could not find a better way to start this blog post then copy and paste what Lee replied to my email: she is true beauty, inside and out, and he is her funny, smart, deeply in love husband. Just when I think that I will not find a wedding to love as much as the ones I already photographed, a new amazing couple reminds me that the best is still to come. Let's the images speak... I could have posted all 600 of them!

Turks_Caicos_Family_Photography Adrienne, Tony and Cole are Turks and Caicos's habitues: turquoise water, powdery sand, the Caribbean sun... who can blame them for keeping coming back to the island over and over again?!? Tired of bad pictures taken by the random person passing by, this year the family decided to hire a professional photographer (Me :-) Ileana at Attimi Photography) to capture a collection of beautiful images to treasure forever. We spent a fun hour together, blessed by a stunning sky on fire.

The Miss Turks and Caicos Universe Beauty Organization presented their “Six and the City Party” on March 22nd 2013, at Yoshi's Japanese Restaurant in Grace Bay, Providenciales. The contestants are excited about the myriad experiences they are gaining - from training to socialising, each event serves to prepare them to be the ambassador of their country. Miss Tymant Dean will be proudly represent the island of North Caicos. I'm always very happy to photograph and support this beautiful your woman - her energy, enthusiasm and commitment is truly remarkable.

I love stories, this one is from the groom's diary (wrote it for my blog): "I was involved in planning an upcoming art show with a friend of mine and, as we were sorting out the details we realised, we needed more people to fill the space. Unbeknownst to me, my friend had asked Anne to be one of the Artists and, as I was finishing one of the pieces, I was going to show my easel broke. So, I headed down to the Art Store where Anne was the manager and asked her to show me some of the easels that they had (now bear in mind I had always had a keen eye out for the pretty blond that worked down there). After she showed me the selection and as I was looking over each easel trying to decide which one I was going to buy, I overheard Anne speaking to one of her Employees about being involved in an upcoming Art Show and sure enough it was the same show I was preparing for. Well, one thing led to another and here we are 3 years later and happily married". - Peyton.

Tessa: "This is what I like... no, it doesn't look like your usual style at all... can you shoot my wedding?" Ileana: "Of course!" I admit it, I didn't sleep much the two nights before the big day, but I couldn't turn down such an exciting a challenge. The big question was: how could I reinvent myself overnight? Tessa and Michael made it easy: the hand crafted decorations, the stunning location, the natural and joyful interaction with the guests and, above all, their perfect love.

Yesterday I forgot to wish a happy Valentine's day to all the "amoureux" out there... but I have the best post to make up for it, a real expression of love: Valery and Kevin's fabulous wedding. The couple pronounced their vows on the pristine beach of Ocean Club, surrounded by the closest family & friends and a crowd of admirers that could not take their eyes off the stunning bride and the handsome groom. I'm serious, the resort staff, the guests and every person walking on Grace Bay beach, stop by to admire, congratulate and take a picture of the newly weds. A special thank you to: Diane, Island Harmony, for the impeccable planning; Environmental Arts for the beautiful bouquet; Anne, Beauty and the Beach, for the bride's makeup and Jeraldine, Maxime le Salon, for the hair style.

Women are amazing. Recently I met Lorena: mother of 3 GORGEOUS kids, loving wife, caring doctor at InterHealth TCI and owner of La Bouquetiere. Her unique talent captured all my attention: she creates unique seashells bouquets, 100% handmade in the Turks and Caicos Islands. As a professional photographer I'm always looking to hide a possible imperfection but, trust me, I didn't have to: I tossed and turned the bouquets in every possible way - not a single wire can be spotted!

Competition for Miss Turks and Caicos 2013 has began. The contestants describe themselves as beautiful, intelligent, sociable, and having the determination to become a beauty ambassador. Last Sunday I had the pleasure to photograph Tye - the elegant and vibrant colours of Grace Bay Club matched the beautiful girl's personality. As Audrey Hepburn said: "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows...".
