According to Jenna, being pregnant is the best feeling in the world. And I agree: she looked glowing, happy and stunning during her Turks and Caicos maternity photo shoot.

Our conversation started with a beautiful email: "I love your photography! Been stalking the internet for photography that caught my eye and found you on instagram, I would love to get more info and see if you are available for the dates we will be visiting Grace Bay.

I am hoping to get maternity photos takes while we are there as I will be just entering my third trimester. I am pregnant with my third, 32 years old and stay physically fit, hoping to be able to get more of an editorial-style look vs. a traditional maternity shoot. I thought you may be the one to do it.

This baby is a girl after two boys (and our last) and we are breaking out our Italian roots and naming her after my Sicilian grandma, Averie Camarata. I saw you were Italian also and I think we could have some fun! My older boys and husband will probably not be up for photos, I may be able to talk my hunny in to joining for a few but chances are my sons will not want to join and I'm ok with that. Pictures on vacation mom?!?  :-)

The wedding, the maternity, the family and the Turks and Caicos: a special place to celebrate the power of love and the circle of life. 6 years ago I had the pleasure to photograph Brandy & Chris' beautiful wedding; this week I had the chance to meet their precious child, Mason, and to feel the "bump" that host their baby girl. I love to see my couples "growing up", building a family of their own and expanding their love.

pregnancy_turksPregnancy brings a new meaning to the concept of beauty. It's a period of immense joy coupled with excitement. The feeling of carrying a little soul is magnificent and should be treasured forever. Kerry and Paul can't wait to introduce their little miracle to this beautiful world: she will be loved, pampered, educated and happy. To capture this special moment of their lives, we created a collection of maternity pictures under the bright Turks and Caicos sun. Most maternity shoots are planned at sunrise or sunset, taking advantage of a soft, delicate light. This time we broke the rule and headed to the beach when the sun was high - the colours are amazing!

Maternity_TurksAugust is a lucky month for Hemali and Manish: last year they got married and this year they will give birth to a beautiful baby. To celebrate the miracle of life and save the memories of this precious moment, the couple chose the beautiful Turks and Caicos for their babymoon and maternity photo shoot. A relaxing week at The Seven Stars resort, lazy days on the beach, the Caribbean sunshine, delicious island food... I can almost see the baby smiling inside Hemali's belly ;-)
