A family portrait is often mom’s idea… the kids play the game and dad comes along hoping the session will be over soon. It was a real pleasure meeting Jerry at Gansevoort Turks + Caicos lobby, chat about photographing his family and handling him my card ; a quick phone call to confirm the details et voila, the shoot was on.

I chose simple and clean backgrounds to put the focus on the family: the leading lines, created by the wood, sails, trees and water, just take your eyes where it matter: a gorgeous mom, a charismatic dad, a beautiful daughter and an handsome son.
