Sometimes all the stars align and… it’s magic! I loved every minute of this amazing Turks and Caicos Editorial Photo Shoot with Ryesha Higgs.
Let’s start from the location: The Shore Club. Designed by the Hartling Group, The Shore Club brings an exclusive Turks and Caicos resort experience to the most sought-after stretch of Providenciales: Long Bay Beach. Named #21 in the Top 25 Resort Hotels in the Caribbean by Travel + Leisure magazine, The Shore Club offered us the best settings for a fashion-inspired photo shoot.
The star of the day: Reysha Higgs – professional dancer, upcoming model and a biomedical science undergraduate. Raised in the Turks & Caicos Islands, Ryesha begun her dance training at the early age of five years old. From the The Ailey School in New York to Studio 68 in London, Ryesha shine with talent, grace, beauty, a kind heart and a smart brain.
Ryesha’s initial idea for the photo shoot was to capture a few, simple beauty images for her portfolio. Fresh, clean, soft makeup, neutral background… you get the picture. But I had to grab the opportunity to capture a Turks and Caicos Editorial Photo Shoot and I could not let it go. She brought the outfits, the makeup, the talent; I added the ideas, creativity, photographic skills. Lots of passion, hard work and a energy, resulted in a great collection of fashion photos that made us very proud.
