windsong_grace_bayThe Windsong Grace Bay: a refreshing gateway, an Turks and Caicos member of Preferred Hotels, an luxury Caribbean resort, the perfect venue of a destination wedding. Lisa and Alain reserved the stunning penthouse and the private loan for the wedding of their dreams. They also prayed for a tropical sunny day and a colourful sunset, but mother nature had different plans for the day…

Despite the rain, the heat and the terrible humidity, the couple and their guests had the time of their life. Bad weather?!? I didn’t notice I was getting married 😉

Alain’s proposal is one of the best I heard so far: on their first class flight to the Turks and Caicos, on April 22nd 2015, he asked Lisa to married him on bended knee over the flight’s Public Announcement system. Awesome!

The girls: beautiful inside and out, cheering, helping and supporting their best friend on her special day

When the rain started pouring we moved in the lobby / arch area of the resort.

A BIG thanks to the amazing wedding planner, Rosalind at Cinnamon Sun Events, and the  staff at Windsong Grace Bay. They dried the chairs, moved the decor, provided umbrellas and support, ensured that the couple and their guests had the best experience possible

I LOVE this image of Lisa

The sun set in the rain, so the ceremony took place in the resort welcome area.

Look at the groom’s reaction when he first sees the bride – fantastic!

Turks and Caicos wedding pictures MUST have some blue water in the background. I suggested the couple to wear their gown and suit again and meet me the following day for a romantic shoot – so worth it.
