I'm so lucky to be a wedding and portrait photographer! I meet wonderful couples that promise to share their lives forever and, shortly after it, I've the privilege to photograph the miracles of their loves: beautiful babies. First came the engagement session, than the wedding day and now cute, little Ava. Rachel and Michael have a special place in my heart and I love telling their story with my camera... keep coming back to the Turks and Caicos: the ocean, the beach, the sun and I will always be ready to welcome you.

The past few weeks have been extremely busy with weddings and portraits and the time to post a few pictures on my blog simply vanished. But I had to take a break from my editing hours to feature Shawna, Jonathan and Brooke's family session at The Sands at Grace Bay . I loved taking their pictures: the little one is just adorable (piggy tails are my favourites); mom & dad are gorgeous and so dedicated to their 2 years old girl. An early start, a few clouds, the pristine beach of the Turks and Caicos, shells to collect and water to splash... always fun!

Kassey Weaver is an amazing photographer based in Oklahoma- when she contacted me to capture her Turks and Caicos' family memories I was excited, honoured and a yes, I admit it, quite nervous. We discussed the location, the outfit, the casual and vibrant feel of the session. Her only condition: "I just want the fun stuff that I can't capture on my own". Cherry on the cake: with grandma keeping an eye on the kids, we spent the last few minutes of the session to "trash the dress" - what better way to celebrate the 5th anniversary than wearing once again that beautiful wedding gown?!?

Brides and grooms want awesome imagery from their wedding, period. They want the unscripted moments captured, but they also want a photographer that can offer a creative, edgy, fun, fashion-inspired collection of pictures. Here comes the Trash the Dress session, on the top ten of my favorite shoots. Muffy and Bryan truly played the game, without the fear of getting a little dirty and completely soaked. Jumping in the Turks and Caicos water isn't too hard after all...

Sally and I have been friends for years, sweating our shirts off at the gym and drinking coffee with the ladies after class. I often heard stories about her amazing, beautiful, funny, genuine, caring, daughter Muffy. It has been a privilege and an honour to cover her wedding and realize that it was't just mom's love, but that Muffy  is the truly the fantastic girl Sally described. Cherry on the cake, is the man that complete her: Bryan - at glance you can see a perfect connection... it take a lot of love, respect and commitment to work together on a yacht all year around.

The bride landed on island just a few hours prior the ceremony, the rain "crushed" the wedding, the sun set behind a tick layer of clouds... but Allison and Harvey' special day turned out to be just perfect. Thanks to the efficiency of Shameka, Grace Bay Club fabulous wedding coordinator, the couple happily pronounced their "I do" on the pristine Grace Bay beach, surrounded by 4 caring guests. Allison preferred a traditional and formal approach to the wedding photography and I was pleased to satisfy her request.

On April 20th 2013 I had the honour and pleasure to photograph the royal wedding of Renischka and Janardo Laporte, dear friends, amazing couple, talented artists and beautiful people with great hearts. Now that I have the approval to share a few images, I'm excited to post them on this blog page. With over 300 guests, a bridal party of 28, an amazing decorated church and reception hall, roses, orchids, diamonds and honey, this wedding will be on everyone's lips for a very long time.
