family_photo_turksTo celebrate her birthday, Lisa planned a beautiful vacation to the Turks and Caicos with the entire family. Such a special occasion needs to be treasured forever, and a collection of beautiful pictures captured by a professional photographer is a must. With great pleasure, I posed 9 adults, 5 young kids and an infant for an unforgettable family portrait at Windrose Estate. A challenge?!? Certainly, but those adorable faces will grow up one day, remembering forever what they looked they were 7, 5, 3, 19 months and all the way to 60.

vows_renewal_turksLast year I had the pleasure to meet the amazing Crudo Family (check out their portrait session). To celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, Christine surprised Frank with a Turks and Caicos Vows Renewal: a bamboo arch on the beach, the promise to keep loving each other for eternity, their gorgeous kids, a few friends, a couple of bottles of champagne and a breathtaking sunset. Keisha, fabulous coordinator at Destination TCI, Christine and I, put all the elements together for a secret and unforgettable evening. A standing ovation to the bride, who managed to have everyone at Leeward beach without saying a world about the great surprise.

gansevoort_turks_weddingRoberta is one of the sweetest bride I ever met; she is also one of the most uncomfortable in-front-of-the-camera-person I ever photographed. She doesn't like to be the centre of attention and when a big black lens is pointed in her direction, her beautiful smile fade into a worried grin. Thank to Keith presence, his secret touch, a lot of jokes and the wedding magic, I was able to capture her true personality and sweet soul. A beautiful wedding at the Gansevoort Turks & Caicos, perfectly planned by Nila Destinations. The 20 knots wind, the hundreds of people passing on the beach heading to the Fish Fry, the soaked pants wore during dinner, were quickly forgotten - Roberta and Keith dream wedding came true on Grace Bay beach on July 16th 2015.

turks_family_photosHow long does it take to book a family portrait? I met LaVonne and Chris on the Regent Grand beach, we spoke for a few minutes, and the following morning at sunrise I was taking their family pictures. That easy. The soft morning light and a few clouds offered us the perfect condition to capture great colours and skin tones: it's common believe that a bright sunshine is needed to obtain the best photos, but when it comes to portraits, the huge, natural soft box created by the an overcast weather, is ideal. From Texas to the Turks and Caicos - not just a vacation but unforgettable family memories.

somerset_family_portraitTwo big brown eyes, an adorable smile, an excited bundle of joy opened the door: "Do you remember me?". Of course I do! Ari is one of my favourite kid in the all wide world, so is Rohan, his little brother. I knew them when they were just a remote idea in their parents mind (I photographed Sandhya and Asif's wedding), and I've being capturing their story ever since (click on the "Circle of Life" to view the previous photo shoot). The Somerset Turks & Caicos is their home away from home, a place to relax, enjoy the sun, spend quality family time. A new colour theme, lots of smile (a few tears too, but you will not see them!) an another collection of memorable attimi ("moments" in Italian).

family_photography_turksI love people from Texas. It's the biggest state in the US and all its inhabitants are very genuine, pleasant, friendly and extremely nice (at least all the ones I met so far). The new direct flights from Dallas and Huston to Providenciales, make the Turks and Caicos an appealing and easy destination for a family vacation. Last Saturday I had the change to photograph a beautiful family from Texas at Ocean Club West, in Grace Bay. After a stormy day, the sky cleared up just a few minutes before the beginning of the family portrait, offering us an almost empty beach, a flat ocean and a great sunset. Have a look...

turks_family_photo2 years ago I had the pleasure to meet and photograph 2 beautiful families (check out their beautiful album). Thanks to a special gift offered by her best friends, Debbie, Gary, Cole, Max, Delilah and I got together again to recreate the magic: a new background, the Caribbean Blue Hills, different and colourful outfits, and a few extra inches (I'm speaking about the kids heigh of course!). College is calling and it's time to move back to Canada for a couple of years, but the Turks and Caicos is HOME and the vibrant colours of the island will follow them everywhere, thanks to their family portrait.

family_taylor_bayTips, quotes, reasons to love the "terrible 2s" are all over the internet. Little cherubs suddenly turn into hard-headed toddlers: a all new set of challenges, but also a time of great milestones and imagination. It's the of  blossoming little creatures and their strong spirits. The last family portrait, taken in Maui only a few months ago, was a little "rough", but Amy and Matt didn't give up: they hoped for a great collection of family pictures at Taylor Bay Turks and Caicos. A long nap, a brief break down and few minutes of hesitation, and little Grant was in a great mood - he reacted amazingly to my presence and camera. We played, run, "flew in the air", jumped, got wet and laughed a lot. I loved to meet this beautiful family, especially the super-cute-adorable-amazing-little Grant. Baby number two in on his way and I truly hope to meet him too one day. Congratulations on the new arrival!

palms_family_portraitSummer time it's vacation time: school, work, stress and traffic are replaced by fun, joy, family time, sun and sea. Cheyanne and Alan fell in love with they Regent Palms Turks & Caicos (they consider it one of the best resort they stayed in the entire world), and they decide to make their experience unforgettable by capturing a collection of beautiful pictures on site.

The morning photo shoot offered us the best of the Turks and Caicos Islands' colours: the 50 shades of blue of the water mesmerise everybody... it's a call to jump in, refresh, relax and make the best of life. Don't you agree?!?

wedding_tciEloping to the Turks and Caicos: a dream of many couples, the real wedding of Andrea and John. The young couple exchanged their vows on the best beach in the world, a few step away from their vacation home, Atlantic Ocean Beach Villas. Romantic, down-to-earth, sweet and simple just like the bride and groom. A special thank to Mary, Nila Destinations' super wedding coordinator, and to Kristen, Andrea's best friend: she recently moved to the Turks and Caicos and I'm sure her presence had a strong influence on the couple's choice for their destination wedding. My favourite thing about this special day? Andrea's laughter and smile - so pure, contagious, real, and certainly one of the reason that make John fall in love with his beautiful bride.
