Turks_Caicos_rehearsal_dinnerThe Rehearsal Dinner is a pre-wedding ceremony in North American tradition, usually held the night before the big day; its purpose is for the relatives and friends of the soon-to-be-newlyweds to meet and have a good time. The question is: how do you spice up your Turks and Caicos Rehearsal Dinner? A Rum Bar, a beach barbecue, a bonfire, S'mores, music and toasts are great ideas. But if you really want make your night memorable, think about the one and only Turks and Caicos Junkanoo, or a crazy fire eater. Ellen and John, the groom's parents, surprised Ashley, Trey and all their guests with first class entertainment. Hosted at The Somerset on Grace Bay beach, this Turks and Caicos Rehearsal Dinner was truly unforgettable. If you haven't done it yet, make sure to check out the previous blog post, featuring Ashley and Trey's Turks and Caicos wedding at The Somerset resort.

somerset_turks_caicos_wedding From the wedding ceremony: "When you spend time with Ashley and Trey you feel a warm sense of comfort. They fit together perfectly. There is no sense that one is trying to conform to the other, but rather, that they innately, instinctively, fit together. Less like a key in a lock, and more like the feeling of your favourite blue jeans, or a comfortable chair. They trust each other's judgment and decisions". I loved every minute of this fabulous wedding at the Somerset Turks and Caicos: the couple, their guests, the location, her dress, his suits, the music, the Jewish traditions, the ambiance, the elegant yet feels-like-home atmosphere. But let me tell you a little more about the couple: in 2013 Ashley and Trey met at the Soup Dumpling Cafe in Chinatown - they randomly sat next to each other during a lunch planned by a common friend. They talked, talked and talked some more, realising they had a lot of similarities... and the rest is history. I had the pleasure to meet Ashley and Trey last August, when the couple visited the Somerset Turks and Caicos to finalise the wedding details. We had a great meeting and a fun engagement session. turks_caicos_wedding_photography"Would you like to be my husband?" - that's how a very emotional Keith asked Nancy in marriage...  after spending 17 years together. The excitement, friendship, complicity and true love has been growing every day with the passing of the years. "She deserves a the engagement ring, the white dress and an amazing destination wedding in the Turks and Caicos" - he told me just before the ceremony. Yes, planning the special day was the groom's idea - so romantic! They eloped to Provo keeping their Turks and Caicos wedding a secret not to be revealed to family and friends 'till their return home. I loved everything about this wedding, especially Nancy and Keith, which I now consider my dear friends. We spoke on the phone and something clicked - we were meant for each other ;-) I'm now happy to share their Turks and Caicos wedding pictures, the visual reminder of a fairytale became reality. The details: wedding venue - The Sands on Grace Bay; wedding planner and ceremony stylist: Keisha, @ Destination TCI; hair and makeup: Shenique @ Sheque Perfection; flowers: Environmental Arts; wedding video: SpotLight Communications; wedding photography: Attimi Photography.

turks_caicos_wedding_beach_pictureMonday night: food poisoning. Tuesday 8:00am: 3 hours wedding photo shoot. What to do?!? I always say that, when I have the camera in front of my eyes, I forget everything else. I'm also a firm believer that our minds can influence our body and state of being. Despite my green, sweaty face and the rumbles in my stomach, I met Katie and David and created a collection of amazing Turks and Caicos wedding pictures. My lucky, compassionate star, gave me the perfect subjects to photograph: absolutely gorgeous, sexy, easy going, fun and willing to play. Katie and David's connection is hard to describe but it can be seen in every movement, gesture and look they exchange - they are simply perfect for each other. The couple chose to have a private ceremony on the balcony of their suite. They gave up the big party, the stress, the huge wedding expenses and eloped to the Turks and Caicos. But they didn't give up the opportunity  take some colourful wedding pictures with the stunning Turks and Caicos scenery.

sands_wedding_picture_turskFrom the bride's diary: "We met in November 2008 while at a pre-Thanksgiving day party.  We were sitting on opposite sides of the bar enjoying the music and taking in the ambiance.  That's when Cherud came over and introduced himself.  I will admit that I gave him a dry "I'm not interested" hello and then turned my attention back to the bar. LOL.  But ironically we kept running into each other on the dance floor.  We started dancing ...we started talking ...and the rest is history!". Every wedding has a beautiful, romantic love story that led to the big day, each one different, special and unforgettable. My passion for creating sun-kissed, fashion-inspired, story-telling Turks and Caicos wedding pictures, goes hand in hand with my passion for people, the source of my inspiration. But let's speak about Cherud and Natacha's Turks and Caicos wedding pictures! I had the pleasure to capture a pre-wedding shoot with the couple and their adorable daughter Natalie at Leeward beach, and document their wedding day at The Sands on Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos. A special thank you to the people that helped making this day amazing: Mary - Nila Destinations: the sweetest wedding planner in Provo; Shenique - Sheque Perfection: the talented make-up artist; Kissing Fish Catering: for the delicious barbecue; Diane - Cake to Di for: for the beautiful cake; SpotLight Communications: for the great videography.

engagement_picture_turksBlue ocean - check. White sandy beach - check. Diamond ring - check. Love, excitement, joy - check, check, check. Engagement shoot in Turks & Caicos - ops! We didn't think about it but it may not be too late... In less then 24 hours, Becky and Merik contacted Attimi Photography, received a prompted reply, fixed and appointment, met Ileana at Ocean Club and had their engagement pictures taken at Leeward Beach, Provo. Easy? - check! Sometimes the best plans are the unplanned ones: the spur of the moment decision that had the cherry to the cake. Congratulations to Becky & Merik on their engagement... and now, let's plan a Turks and Caicos wedding :-)

wedding_windsong_tciWeather: sunny, rainy, hot, freezing, foggy... one thing we know: it's completely out of our control. For the picky, control-freak kind (just like me), it's often a reality hard to accept, but we have to make the best of it. Candie and Drew planned a morning wedding on Grace Bay beach, hoping to capture the vibrant turquoise, blue and emerald shades of the Turks and Caicos water. The stubborn weather chose to be cloudy, humid, and incredibly hot for the first couple of hours of the day but, gave up its moody look after the ceremony, blessing the couple with some strong rays of sun. The facts: wedding venue - Windsong Turks & Caicos; wedding planner: the great Rosalind at Cinnamon Sun Events, and the efficient Lorraine (one site stylist and coordinator); flowers: Environmental Arts; wedding photographer: Attimi Photography.

Coral_Garden_weddingAn intimate, emotional, beautiful wedding at Coral Gardens Turks and Caicos: Robin and Cory's elopement was an unforgettable day, celebrated in the name of love and simplicity. When I first spoke on the phone with the bride, her main concern about the wedding pictures was the "non-photogenic factor": the couple believes that they are faces are not camera friendly, and this common thing added a sweet point to their attraction. What?!? Robin is gorgeous and Cory is a charming man. I made a point to edit the wedding pictures prior their departure from the Turks and Caicos: I wanted to see their reaction to my shots... and it was all worth it! Capturing emotions and consequentially creating ones, it's the reason I passionately love my job. Robin's happy tears made my day! A special thanks to: Rosalind from Cinnamon Sun Events for the wedding planning;  Lorraine for the onsite coordination; Ann from Beauty and the Beach for the beautiful makeup; Thea at Thea Makeup Artistry for the elegant hair style; Jamie at Coral Gardens Turks and Caicos.

Men look at the Sport Illustrated Swimsuit edition with a hint of desire and excitement; women find the models gorgeous but the “envy factor” is hard to ignore. Simply we would love to look like them, bringing out our sexy side…. So don’t be shy and make it happen!

Glenny is a beautiful girl, a caring mother, an hard worker, a great friend, and a woman in love. “Su amor” knows how much she likes pictures, so for he offered her a sexy Turks and Caicos Photography session as a present. The question is: who is going to enjoy those images more? Him or her?
