Meridian_Club_weddingPine Cay, an 800-acre private island with two miles of pristine beach, is fast becoming one of the only places in the Turks and Caicos where you can get completely away from the pressures of modern life. Looking for an intimate, beautiful, special and simple day, Claudia and Derek chose to celebrate their Pine Cay Wedding on the natural beach of the Meridian Club. Promising to stay side to side forever, in the presence of God and OUR ocean, Claudia and Derek had an unforgettable wedding, and a truly amazing time in Pine Cay. From the Sand Dollar Cottage, to the exploration of the island striking natural features, from the romantic and secluded time, to the laughs and jokes shared with a group of new friends - the experience of a lifetime and a perfect beginning of a very happy married life. Avianne, the wedding coordinator, and the Meridian Club staff were great - I'm sure the couple will never forget them. Let's the pictures tell the story of this amazing Pine Cay Wedding!

The Turks and Caicos are world-renowned for the offerings of sun, sea and sand, but there’s much more to explore than just beautiful beaches. The Caribbean region offers some of the most spectacular scuba diving sites in the world thanks to its dramatic underwater landscapes, colourful ocean flora, fauna and rare marine life. Erika and Mark are passionate divers, so they chose to combine a family / diving vacation with one of the best day of their lives: their wedding at the Regent Grand.
Planned by the Island Harmony team, Erika and Mark's wedding combined the elegance of a gorgeous bride, the easy going attitude of an handsome groom, the love and affection of family and friends, the spectacular Turks and Caicos nature, and the beauty of a wedding at the Regent Grand in Grace Bay.

regent_grand_turksTurks & Caicos: a Regent Grand Wedding, an elopement, a Trash the Dress, an unforgettable day and so much more. This is story of Erin and Eddie's wedding: a beautiful and original couple that chose to combine the elegance of the Regent Grand, with the natural setting of Leeward beach; the traditional wedding dress, with a dip in the water; a special old ring, with a sparkling new diamond. Erin is a great photographer (no pressure on me ;-)); with the job it comes the reluctance of being on the other side of the camera. But just take a look at her: she is gorgeous! My silly jokes and enthusiasm, her wedding glow, and certainly Eddie's loving presence, made her relax and look like the cover of a bridal magazine.

engagement_turksThere is nothing like having a destination engagement photo shoot! When most of the United States are under the rain, the snow or a freezing cold sky, a Turks & Caicos Engagement session add sunshine, smiles, fun and love to this amazing experience. People say that couples are actually the same person, you know – two halves of an apple. Some couples prove this more than others, and I think the harmony of Alicia and Michael, how loving and caring they were during the engagement photo shoot, serves as a perfect example of this. Their first experience in front of the camera of a professional photographer was great: they giggles, laughs, played... and made a promise to do it again :-)

trash_dress_turksThe Turks & Caicos islands: can you think of a better location to trash the dress, or better, simply wet it and treasure it forever? 3 days after their beautiful wedding (click on Wedding at The Sands on Grace Bay  if you haven't done it yet), Kristen, Mark and I took a little island tour to capture a collection of original wedding pictures. Fashion inspired, sun-kissed, romantic, fun and very wet images, with the best Turks and Caicos backgrounds. The trash the dress trend started a few years ago: I loved the idea from the very begin and I love it even more after each session. The newlyweds can enjoy some time together, relax, cuddle, pose like professional models, laugh and have a great time. With an unexpected end, Kristen and Mark trash the dress photo shoot will be very hard to forget - such a great story to tell!

TCI_wedding_picture"It's all about the match" - that's how Mark describes his never ending love for Kristen. "Finding the perfect person, the one that truly completes you and make you whole, the woman that will be with to you for the rest of your life". Mark emotional words, came out of his mouth so naturally, sincere and directly from the heart. With such a start, this amazing TCI Wedding began. With the guidance of Lynne, Nila Destinations great wedding coordinator, the couple hosted their romantic TCI Wedding at The Sands on Grace Bay. They walked down the sandy aisle on a hot November afternoon, surrounded by turquoise water, loving family member and the closest friends. "We have decided on forever. 11.28.15. Thank you for being part of our story" - that's the card that welcomed the guests at the beautiful reception hosted on the deck of Hemingway's Restaurant at The Sands resort. It has been my pleasure and honour to capture this sweet story, which I'm now happily sharing with you all.

Marziou-032Every year The Palms Turks and Caicos hosts the "In the Pink": a charity event and fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Shopping, dancing, generosity, compassion, awareness and "a labour of love" are the stars of the night. Surpassing the target of raising 25.000$ the 5th annual event was a great success. A special thanks to the President of the Turks and Caicos National Cancer Society Ms Lucille Lightbourne, to Ms Karen Whitt, The Palms general manager and the event’s key coordinator, to the team of passionate ladies, business and individuals that made the "In the Pink" a night to remember. Attimi Phtography donated a Lifestyle Portrait session for the silent auction: Michelle bid and won a Turks and Caicos family photo shoot, perfect for the upcoming Holiday Season. Just before sunset the stylish family and I met at Leeward beach to capture a collection of pictures full of smile, love and island life.

turks_caicos_swimsuit_photoA swimsuit photo shoot in the Turks and Caicos is not reserved only to the models and celebrities. It's the perfect occasion to celebrate confidence, beauty and femininity. Holly embraced the task, flaunting some sexy curves on a Turks and Caicos deserted beach at sunrise. A real race against the rain, the waves and the strong wind... with a fabulous result. Well done Holly! Behind a serious face and sexy poses, there was a lot of laughters, clumsy moments, jokes and a great girls time. Editor's note: the following are Turks and Caicos' swimsuit photos. There is no nudity but if some bare skin offends you, please skip to the next post.

wedding_palms_turks"When you want something all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it" - Paulo Coelho.

Leah and Frank’s wedding at The Palms Turks and Caicos is a story of love, dreams and faith: they carefully choose the amazing location, the wedding details, the personal vows, the exit with sparkles… but one thing could not have been checked from the list: fireworks. Surprise, surprise, in the middle of the wedding reception, completely unexpected, the sky exploded in beautiful firework show, only a few hundreds years away from their dinner table. It was meant to be, just like their beautiful relationship.

The couple loves to travel (they are currently honeymooning in Africa!), to sky, to hike, to play, to golf, to drink and have a great time. From California to Georgia, their life together began when, after several attempts, Leah finally agreed to go out on a date with Frank... fell in love with the little freckles on his cheek and everything else about him.

Good to know: the perfect day would never have been so perfect without the one and only Nila Destinations - wedding planner; the bride’s fabulous make-up and hair style are by Shenique, at Sheque Perfection; the crazy dancing night was directed by Dj Dayoh; the amazing settings are all part of a wedding at the Palms Turks and Caicos.
