What to do when the weather gets too cold and the snow keeps falling? Plan a Family winter escape to Turks and Caicos! Even when the monster storm influences the Caribbean, it's much better to take a walk on a sandy beach at 70°, then to scrape the ice from the car windows ;-)
I met this beautiful family last year (click on family portrait to view it) and I was excited to photograph them again. We planned the photo shoot at sunrise on the Seven Stars dock, on Grace Bay: we envisioned a collection of family pictures sitting on the beams, walking across them, laying on the side of the dock. Mother nature didn't agree with our plan and surprised use with big crashing waves, that covered most of the beach and brought a lot of sand under the dock. Oh well, we embraced the situation and make the best of it, capturing precious of the Family winter escape to Turks and Caicos.
Last January I met an amazing woman: Susie. I had the chance to photograph her family, as well as to capture her sexy Turks and Caicos bikini shoot. Fast forward a year she is back on island, ready to pose again for my camera, with and without kids.
Susie has an impressive story to tell: to respect her privacy I’ll not reveal her secrets on this post, but I can proudly say that she has all my admiration and respect. She is beautiful woman, a lovely wife, a caring mother; she is also as a fighter, a fearless, strong, faithful, dedicated, awesome lady.
To celebrate the 50th birthday of my beloved, to welcome the New Year, to forget the winter, and especially to have a great time together, my French Family (Eric’ side) joined us in the Turks and Caicos Islands. 3 weeks of great time, laughters, love, joy, sun , sea, a lot of good wine and delicious meals. The opportunity for photo shoot could not be missed… great Turks & Caicos Family Pictures and excellent memories.
Pour fêter les 50 ans de mon cheri, célébrer le nouvelle an, oublier l’hiver, et surtout pour passer des moments ensemble, ma famille française nous a rejoindre aux Iles Turquoises. 3 semaines de bon temps, de rires, d’amour, de joie, de soleil, de mer, beaucoup de vin et des délicieux repas. Une seance photo ne pouvait pas manquer… et alors voila, les photos de famille et des excellent souvenirs.
Makenzie is a beautiful woman, a photographer, an entrepreneur, a wife and the mother of two energetic twin boys. She manages everything with care, grace and unconditional love, but she can't be in the front and in the back of the camera at the same time. A collection of great Turks and Caicos family pictures is exactly what she needed!
Grand Turk: the capital island of the Turks and Caicos, its historical heartbeat, and home to a state of the art luxury cruise ship centre. Carnival, Princess, Voyager and other cruise lines chose the 7 square miles island as a favourite stop for their passengers.
So what to do when landing in Grand Turk? Justin made his day truly unforgettable by proposing to his beautiful girlfriend Katelyn. What a surprise! Emotions, happy tears, excitement, love, laughters and joy, all captured by a memorable collection of Grand Turk Engagement pictures.
I collected the couple, Justin's lovely mom and auntie at the cruise centre, headed to town and started the photo session. While the ladies prepared the beach, spreading the petals of over 20 roses on the sand, we took advantage of a shaded area for the first set of engagement pictures. I could see the butterflies wildly flying inside Justin's stomach as the tension rose. Finally I gave him the signal, he got down on one knee... and the rest his history.
Many congratulations to Justin and Katelyn... the Turks and Caicos and I will be happy to welcome you back for the wedding :-)
The Holidays are over but the memories of a wonderful time are vivid, fresh and vibrant thanks to our collection of Turks and Caicos family pictures. Happiness, laughters, joy and even grumpy faces, makes us smile and dream about the next vacation in the sunshine.
I met this gorgeous family at Beach House and, after a brief chat with mom, we started to work... literally. A 2 years old, that spent the day playing in the water, can be tired and hungry even after a nap. But thanks to crazy faces, games and jokes from mom & dad, sweet words, some cuddles, and a few gummy bears, I was able to capture some amazing Turks and Caicos family pictures to treasure forever.
I smile at their cute faces, but also at the memory of Justin telling Anne: "Somehow you always get what you want". Yes, she worked truly hard to help me photographing some genuine expressions, but check out the results...
It's the beginning of the New Year, a perfect moment to thank all couples that gave me the honour and pleasure to photograph their special day, capturing memories for a lifetime.
