Dannika and Ryann got married at the beginning of July and, instead of planning a big fancy wedding, they chose an intimate affair and two memorable photo shoots. The first one at home, on the big day, the second one during their honeymoon in Turks & Caicos.

Thanks to an early wake up call, we avoided the hot and bright midday sunlight. Grace Bay is stunning shortly after sunrise, when the beach is deserted and the ocean is calm and clear. A few clouds can't certainly spoil the fun!
Can I photograph a fun, sweet, large Family Portrait at Villa View Caribe in Taylor Bay, Turks & Caicos? Of course! Can I handle 8 adults, 2 infants, 2 toddlers, 4 school age children? Absolutely! When James, Senior Guest Experience Specialist at Luxury Retreats, asked me those questions I immediately thought about the possible tears, the patience overload, the silly games and fun expressions needed to capture so many little kids. What I didn't expect was 3 wonderful couples, 8 smiling kids and an amazing grandma.
The overcast sky worked like a giant softbox, reducing shadows, contrasts and squinting. The quite beach offered me the perfect background. The energy and involvement of the parents made the children laugh and have a good time. Everything came together for a picture perfect large family portrait. It's certainly not all about the best photographer!

I had a blast photographing Shani and Danny! She is absolutely stunning and he's crazy about her. Together they chose her fabulous blue dress, the bikinis, the jewelry. Danny dreamed of his wife walking on the beach with a lace umbrella and little twinkle lights, so he created it - who doesn't love such a romantic man?!?
What's so special about a beautiful Ocean Club Wedding in Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos? Everything! That's why Karen and Garland chose to pronounce their wedding vows under the Caribbean sun. The closest friends and family members gladly accepted the invitation to travel to Provo, sharing the couple' special day.
For Karen and Garland was love at first sight: she stepped into his office... and the rest is history. An easy going, gorgeous, lovely couple; they enjoy the simple life and most of all each other company.

Capturing the Margaris Family Island Escape in Turks & Caicos has been a true pleasure. The enthusiastic parents set the mood for a perfect photo shoot, Â and the kids, 20 and 16, posed like expert models.
