There is no winter on island, just sun, sea and great times! I had a blast photographing this beautiful Turks and Caicos Family Portrait at Brise de Mer Villa.

After capturing Sam and Brian's engagement session, it has been a true pleasure to meet the entire family. The girls are gorgeous, grandma is lovely, Brian' sister is fun and her son is a charming young man. Add on two perfect beaches, Long Bay and Leeward Beach, and you get a picture-perfect family portrait.

It's engagement season, which means serious couples everywhere have proposals on the brain. But with holiday parties and family get-togethers filling up the calendar, figuring out the best way to propose can be tough to do. Brian took advantage of his family Caribbean vacation to plan a surprise engagement in Turks and Caicos. With the excuse to show Samantha the beach where their family portrait will take place, he got down on one knee and pop the big question. The answer?!? A no brainer "YES!".

Christmas is just around the corner and it's Holiday Time pictures for families, kids, couples and friends. Forget the snow, here in Turks and Caicos we celebrate under the hot Caribbean sun!

Last year I had the pleasure to photograph this beautiful family in Long Bay (click on Family Portrait to view it); I was excited to see them again and welcome them back to capture their family pictures at Royal West Indies, on Grace Bay. The kids changed so much in the past 12 months, still as cute as ever.

"It's all about the people: we don't care about having pictures of our rings, the dress, the details, we want you to photograph our the event as it unfolds, capturing our guests having a fun". That's how Dana and Mark asked me to photograph their Villa Triton Wedding - so I did. But that's not the only reason why this isn't an unusual wedding: most couples come to the Turks and Caicos to get married on the beach, or at least walk on it after the ceremony; no sand between the toes in this case. Dana and Mark welcomed their guests in short and t-shirt, but changed in a matter of minutes in a stunning gown and an elegant suit (minus the pants, left in Florida by accident, ops!). The couple surprised their guests with the music of a fabulous live band: trust me, the party could not get any better.
