wedding_ocean_club_westIf I should define this beautiful Wedding at Ocean Club West with a single word, I would say "personal". Yes, because Rahab and Tim, as well as every single guest, added a personal touch to make the wedding truly unforgettable. The silk bride's gown has been created and hand crafted by her talented mom; a dear friend sang a beautiful song for the celebration opening; the ceremony was celebrated by Rahab's brother, Marc; the couple exchanged personal, deep vows. They played a game to brake the ice and connect everyone; in lieu of favours the bride and groom made a donation to the cancer society, in honour of Tim's father. Shall I continue? Rahab married her "personal superhero" and Tim married the love of his life. Sweet, caring, real, happy, emotional and full of love.

wedding_sands_turksAn elegant wedding at The Sands Turks & Caicos: this is the story of Heather and Joe, a couple in love, perfectly made for each other. The immediate family members and friends joined the couple for an unforgettable celebration on Grace Bay beach. Joy, serenity, beauty and a dream come true. "Two miracles happened in Heather's life: the first one is her beautiful son, the second one is Joe" - I can't recall if Heather's mom or dad toasted to the couple with those words, but I certainly love them. What a perfect welcome to his new family!

turks_caicos_family_reunionA famous author once wrote: "I love family reunions. Maybe next year we could pass out samurai swords". That's because he never participate in a Turks & Caicos Family Reunion! 14 adults, 2 kids, 6 toddlers, one infant, 7 Stars, 1 boat trip, hundreds of family pictures and an unforgettable trip to the islands. When Connie and Brian contacted me to photograph their family portraits and a fun day on the water, I was thrilled about it. But I admit it, I was also a little nervous: getting the attention of 8 kids, the oldest a 7 years old girl, is quite a challenge. Several hours with them got me to the conclusion that I could follow this family all around the world every time the get together - what a great group!

turks_caicos_photographyThe Turks and Caicos Islands are fast becoming a dream destination for many people all over the world. Fashion designer, Marcela Malloy, and her husband Flavio, travelled all the way from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, to celebrate their wedding anniversary on the renowned Grace Bay beach. Marcela wore a beautiful Arte Sacra | Couture gown from her own collection, evoking comfort, spontaneity and naturalness, signatures of the brand. My Turks and Caicos photography travels the world, just like me ;-)

family_portrait_turks"We like to make friends wherever we go" - and that's how I got to spend a fun night after a beautiful family portrait Turks & Caicos! Connecting with Esther and Paul is as easy as to eat a piece of cake: they are fun, genuine, interesting and so friendly. If we add on their adorable 15 months old, Joseph, the cake gets even better. We warmed up in the Windsong Resort garden area and then headed to the pristine Leeward Beach.

Turks_Caicos_weddingWhenever I think I photographed the best Turks & Caicos wedding, another one comes along and it hit the top ten. It's not about the  beautiful location, the fabulous details, the stunning dress or the incredible settings, but the magic created by a couple in love. Amanda and Matt lived next to each other all their lives; they "met" in high school and, 7 years after their first kiss, they shared their wedding vows on Grace Bay, Providenciales. From The Residences, where the couple and the bridal party got ready, to the West Bay Club beach for the special ceremony; all the way across the island to North West Point Resort for the fun reception.

turks_caicos_beach_shootYesterday I stumbled upon a blog post, titled The mommy after: 10 Postpartum Surprises:  "They say females are the stronger sex because we can birth babies. But, are women warriors because they deal with the aches and pains of pregnancy and labor or because they can look in the mirror after delivery and deal with its physical aftermath?". Shannon is a lucky, or better determined, strong, motivated, hard working, beautiful mother, who can rock her body on the beach after giving birth to gorgeous girls. She promised she would pose for the camera in her bikini and she did: her Turks and Caicos beach shoot is nothing but stunning.
