Yesterday I stumbled upon a blog post, titled The mommy after: 10 Postpartum Surprises:  “They say females are the stronger sex because we can birth babies. But, are women warriors because they deal with the aches and pains of pregnancy and labor or because they can look in the mirror after delivery and deal with its physical aftermath?”.
Shannon is a lucky, or better determined, strong, motivated, hard working, beautiful mother, who can rock her body on the beach after giving birth to gorgeous girls. She promised she would pose for the camera in her bikini and she did: her Turks and Caicos beach shoot is nothing but stunning.
When everyone was still sound asleep, including the sun, Shannon applied her makeup, brushed her hair, chose her best bikinis and stepped in the shoes of a top model for the day.
Driving from Grace Bay to Leeward Beach, we shared stories, ideas, dreams, and in a matter of minutes, I felt like I knew her for years. We both had high expectations from this Turks and Caicos beach shoot… so let’s take a look at the pictures!
A little self indulgence = a big, unexpected gift for the hubby 😉

When you combine an amazing beach and a very talented photographer, you get pure magic. The photos are absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for better results. All I could say was, “WOW, I can’t believe that’s me!” when I first saw the photos.
When I initially spoke with Ileana over the phone before the shoot, I felt very comfortable working with her and I knew we would have a great experience. She effortlessly captures your best during the shoot and creates real works of art. From beginning to end, the process was a wonderful experience!
