The 2020 brought us a completely new reality, an unrecognisable world that hides our smiles behind masks. It’s in the people’s eyes that we find beautiful souls and feelings: just focus on the bright side, happiness and love are everywhere. The latest “cherry on the cake”, or better, the “succulent chocolate delight”, is a fantastic Amanyara Wedding that united Kristen and Brian forever.

I love stories, especially when told by the person that experienced them. So let’s hear it form Kristen:

“We were originally planning a small intimate wedding in Costa Rica with our family and closest friends. Then Covid hit and we realized at the rate of how things were progressing we wouldn’t be able to get married for years! So we decided to just elope now!

We did a quick search as to what countries would accept Americans and who also had low Covid cases. It was also a requirement to go to a place neither of us have ever been! Turks and Caicos was the winner!!

We started researching special places on the islands. We figured since it was only the two of us we would splurge!! And… that we did!!! Wowsers! Amanyara is a dream!!

Our ceremony was incredibly special shared between just Brian and I. I was at first skeptical of eloping. Trying to imagine the day without my parents. But honestly, the day and our entire trip was beyond special. We took in every single moment together. Not a second of this trip will ever be forgotten. Just me and my forever man.

Lucky for us we found Ileana!!! Who has captured our wedding day just absolutely beautifully. A true Fairytale.

Sigh… we cannot wait to return!”

One of the most memorable moment of a wedding is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time.  For a brief moment, all of the nervousness and anticipation disappears and the couple enjoys an emotional connection that they’ll cherish forever. With no friends and family waiting at the aisle, the “first look” happened in the private cove facing the couple’s villa.

Isn’t the location simply breathtaking?!? Welcome to an Amanyara Wedding

Ideally we wanted the veil to gently fly in the afternoon breeze… instead the wind threw it over Kristen and Brian’s heads, shaping itself into a heart. This is no Photoshop trick, I showed the image on camera to the groom just after it happened.

Let’s get married!

Styled for the occasion: Mrs Dolores Conolly, aka my friend Dee, officiated the heartfelt ceremony rocking pink and pearls on her dress and mask. She’s awesome!

Just you and I… and the people we love the most on video call 😉

How wonderful would be to have a horse on the beach for our Amanyara Wedding?!? Unique Tours and Rentals made it happen: “Playboy” (that’s the real name of the horse) showed up more charming than ever.

Wedding photography or wall art?

A special thanks go to Andre’ and the Amanyata staff for offering the newlyweds and unforgettable wedding and vacation
