Writing a wedding post after the passage of hurricane Irma feels strange: the devastation and sadness are hard to face, but the Turks and Caicos survived the monster. One day everything will be repaired and shining just like the sun. Thanks to all the beautiful people that are working hard to restore, help, clean and rebuild, hurricane Irma will be simply a good lesson and another story to tell. Borrowing my friend's electricity (I have no power nor internet connection at my home and studio), I'm pleased to share Erin and Rob's wedding at the Alexandra Resort, on Grace Bay. They have been waring patiently for their wedding pictures and finally I can share a few of them with you. We all need a reason to smile and think about happy days, past and future.

What's so special about a beautiful Ocean Club Wedding in Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos? Everything! That's why Karen and Garland chose to pronounce their wedding vows under the Caribbean sun. The closest friends and family members gladly accepted the invitation to travel to Provo, sharing the couple' special day. For Karen and Garland was love at first sight: she stepped into his office... and the rest is history. An easy going, gorgeous, lovely couple; they enjoy the simple life and most of all each other company. Wedding Venue: Ocean Club Resorts; Wedding planner: Chrishell, Nila Destinations; Reception Venue: Solana!; Flowers: Flowers by EA; Makeup Artist: Ann, Beauty and the Beach; Hair Stylist: Brigitte, Tangled Hair Salon; DJ: DJ Dayoh; Wedding Cake: Diane, Cake to Di For.

Ashley and Dave's beautiful Grace Bay Wedding celebrated the union of two amazing people, as well as the union of the entire family. Six awesome kids are now officially brothers and sisters: they will be there for each other, with ups and downs, happiness and sorrow, always supported and loved by their parents. The wedding took place at AquaMarine Beach Houses, private and spacey villas located directly on Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos. No fuss, no stress, no drama: a casual and fun event in the name of love. Just like they dreamed about it...

Should the title of this blog post read "A fairytale wedding at Seven Stars" or "Princess Elsa got married"? I chose the classical version but deep in my heart I certainly prefer the more creative one. The dress, the hair, the eyes, the beauty of Casey can't me stop thinking about the fairytale Princess. And Matt can certainly be a sweet prince charming! Matt and Casey met in school, a little too young for a serious relationship. But that first love never disappear and once they reconnected, they spent together 6 years in view of this special day.

Stacy and Wyatt's beautiful Grace Bay Wedding it's all about love and family. The unconditional, breathtaking, always-and-forever love of the couple, and the caring, affectionate, supportive love of the family. Both set of parents walked down the bride & groom on the sandy aisle, the bride's sisters embrace the bridesmaids roles, the brothers-in-law performed a beautiful ceremony. Cherry on the cake: the closest friends, who flew to the Turks & Caicos to share and cheer the couple on this special day. Wedding venue: The Sands at Grace Bay; wedding coordinator: Keisha Delancy at Destination TCI; flowers: Flowers by EA; Reception Venue: Hemingway's Restaurant.

The Turks & Caicos are popular islands for destination weddings: the eternal sunshine and turquoise water, attract couples from all over the world. This time however, I'm happy to feature a Turks & Caicos local wedding. Tekarrah and Albright exchanged their wedding vows in front of 200 guests: a beautiful ceremony celebrated in the Community Fellowship Centre Church across, better known on island as the church across 7/11. Such a big party, needs a big space: the reception took place in the master ballroom of Beaches Resort.

real_wedding_turks_and_caicosA chose the title "Real Wedding Turks and Caicos" as my beautiful couple look like models that belong in the editorial spread of a wedding magazine. They are my favorite kind of "celebrities": ordinary people that became extraordinary in one of the most special day of their lives. Extraordinary for each other, extraordinary for family and friends, extraordinary for me. I nicknamed Angie and Chris my "end of the year present": photographing them has been a real pleasure, stunning on the outside and sweet and caring on the inside.

destination_wedding_turksA Turks & Caicos Destination Wedding often has a long list of vendors to organize, assist, guarantee and provide all the services that a bride and groom may need on their special day. Quyen and Andrew chose a DIY wedding, offering themselves and their guests a fantastic day, full of love, joy, dances and laughters. Every detail was planned to perfection, and everyone contributed to the success of the day: I never saw a party of 78 people get in position for the group shot as fast! Grace Bay beach, right in front of the Sibonne Hotel, offered a long stretch of powdery sand to host the ceremony and the reception. Kissing Fish catered the delicious beach Barbeque, and DJ Dayoh created the right vibe to keep every person dancing all night long.
