Can I photograph a fun, sweet, large Family Portrait at Villa View Caribe in Taylor Bay, Turks & Caicos? Of course! Can I handle 8 adults, 2 infants, 2 toddlers, 4 school age children? Absolutely! When James, Senior Guest Experience Specialist at Luxury Retreats, asked me those questions I immediately thought about the possible tears, the patience overload, the silly games and fun expressions needed to capture so many little kids. What I didn't expect was 3 wonderful couples, 8 smiling kids and an amazing grandma. The overcast sky worked like a giant softbox, reducing shadows, contrasts and squinting. The quite beach offered me the perfect background. The energy and involvement of the parents made the children laugh and have a good time. Everything came together for a picture perfect large family portrait. It's certainly not all about the best photographer!

A gorgeous family portrait at Coral House Turks & Caicos, and I when I say "gorgeous", I really mean it. My job couldn't be easier: 2 fun boys, a stunning couple, one of the most beautiful villa on island, Coral House, an empty beach and a dramatic sunset. While waiting for mom and dad, the kids gave me the house tour, showing me the secret passage, the biggest spider ever, their Lego collection, and their favorite toy of the week: a stick with a tennis ball in top of it. Naming Star Wars and playing games, created the perfect connection and the opportunity to capture some natural portraits of the boys.

Two years after their first family photo shoot in the Turks & Caicos, this elegant family is back on island for more family photos at The Somerset Grace Bay. The twins are now 11 and they are more beautiful then ever: a new hair cut, a few extra inches, the same great energy and connection. It's spring time and the bougainvilleas at The Somerset are in full bloom: magenta, orange, white over a carpet of green leaves. A colorful background for a great family portrait, followed by the always amazing blues of Grace Bay beach.

The wedding, the maternity, the family and the Turks and Caicos: a special place to celebrate the power of love and the circle of life. 6 years ago I had the pleasure to photograph Brandy & Chris' beautiful wedding; this week I had the chance to meet their precious child, Mason, and to feel the "bump" that host their baby girl. I love to see my couples "growing up", building a family of their own and expanding their love.

Kiana and Dedrick: an elegant Wedding at Beach House Turks and Caicos. The graceful gown, the european-cut suit, the Jimmy Choos, the bow tie, the diamond and peal accents, the delicate flowers and, above all, the newlyweds: this special event it's all about style and class. In one of the coldest  and windy Turks and Caicos day of the year (yes, sometimes the temperature goes below 75!), this stunning duo promised to live together  happily ever after.

When I first met the couple, Dedrick described their relationship in a quick sentence: "We went on our first date, a year after we bought our house,  a year after we had a baby... and the rest is history".

How to make a birthday celebration and a family vacation unforgettable? Plan a Turks & Caicos Family photo shoot: your most vivid memories are those suspended in time by a beautiful photograph. We often underestimate the value of a collection of beautiful images: we think we will remember those special moments forever but our brain simply can't recall it all. A picture trigs a memory, making us remember how young, beautiful or ugly, different or fat, in love or in pain, joyful or emotional, we used to be.

It has been a true pleasure to photograph Christine and Jimmy's Turks and Caicos engagement session. We met at the elegant Palms on Grace Bay, where the couple spent their fabulous vacation, and then travelled to Sapodilla Bay, on the south shore of Providenciales, for some fun pictures on the beach. People say that when you marry someone you marry their entire family, so it was great to have Jimmy's relatives joining us for the second part of the shoot.

4 generations: life and love captured in a beautiful Family Portrait at Beach Enclave Turks and Caicos. A few years ago I had the pleasure to meet Kim & Kim, a delightful couple celebrating their wedding anniversary in Grace Bay. When she contacted me to announce they would be back on island with her daughter's family, I couldn't wait to see them again. Cherry on the cake, the new location: their fantastic villa at the Beach Enclave - "Be elevated... Be inspired... Be exhilareted... Be yourself".

My end of the year present continues (if you have no idea what I'm talking about check out the post Real Wedding Turks and Caicos), offering me the opportunity to photograph a  stunning and fashionable Trash the Dress Turks and Caicos. From Long Bay to Grace Bay and Leeward beach, mixing blue, pink and gold, sunshine, crushing waves and even a little bit of rain. Not every couple is willing to get up at 6:00am the morning after the wedding day. But Angie and Chris are awesome. Without hesitation they embraced the idea of an early rise to capture a collection of fashion-inspired, sun-kissed, story-telling images.
