Some weddings are big and complicated, others are intimate and simple, just like Sarah and Michael's Wedding at Taylor Bay, Turks and Caicos.

I add the opportunity to meet the couple a year ago, when I photographed their beautiful family portrait at Villa Vieux Caribe. When Sarah informed they would get married during their family vacation, I was immediately excited at the idea to capture their wedding and see everyone again.

What happens when bad luck meet Murphy's Law?!? You should expect the worst but there is always an exception...

When I first met Julia she told me that she is hunted by bad luck. She is a happy, bubbly, positive, "life is beautiful" person, however bad luck has been her fellow companionship, all her life. And now she was about to marry Mr Murphy - according to the law, "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong".

She was prepared for one of those rare, ugly day and it rains all day in Provo, with no worries at all: she was going to get married to her best friend and the love of her life.

Despite the prediction, the weather was gorgeous, offering Julia and Will a very Happy Wedding at The Sands at Grace Bay.

You searched and saved to find the perfect gown for a long time. As much as you love it, one question lingers... what will become of the dress after the wedding? Keep scrolling down to read 8 great ideas suggested by Loverly. But first, the fun fact: Kristy and Anthony choose #8, Trash it! To keep things simple, the gorgeous couple preferred the all-inclusive formula offered by Beaches Turks and Caicos for their vacation and wedding day. But the cookie-cutter photos taken by the resort photographer were just not enough. They heard about the "Trash the Dress Queen" and contacted me ;-) Playful, fun, sexy are the words that Kristi used to describe the photos she was looking for. Getting the wedding dress sandy and soaked in the Turks and Caicos water was so worth it!

Most couples travelling to the Turks and Caicos to get married choose a beach ceremony, just a few steps away from the ocean. Agnes and Mark preferred to bless their wedding with a religious ceremony at Our Lady of Divine Providence Provo's Catholic Church. Rev. Luis Orlando González celebrated the Mass, accompanied by the amazing voices of the church singers. Agnes’ wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous as was the bride herself. Not forgetting to mention the Badgley Mischkas heels, that she wore with grace and elegance. The wedding colours, ivory, cream and a little touch of green, added a personal touch to this intimate wedding.

I loved every minute of this intimate Wedding at The Sands on Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos. The stunning and sweet couple, Qing and Danny, the original ceremony celebrated by the groom's grandfather, the lovely and supportive family members, the gorgeous sunset and, above all, the love-filled atmosphere - so pure, you could almost grab it. Qing and Danny met approximately 7 years ago at the Castleton Square Mall  in Indianapolis. When he first saw her, he wished he had someone like her in his life...and here we are today. Married, happy, more in love then ever and looking forward for a long happy life together.

A wedding and marriage is about two people, not everyone else, and an elopement is truly about two people alone. It gives the couple the opportunity to focus their full attention, free from distraction, and to be entirely in the moment with one another. Pam and Bobby did it right, eloping to the Turks and Caicos Islands. They booked the modern Sea Edge Villa, part of a trio of the beautifully designed Villas at Grace Bay, and enjoyed every minute of their vacation / wedding / honeymoon / winter escape. I felt very connected to the couple as, during the booking process, I was able to share some island tips and suggest some of my favorite people to work with. Pastor Padmore, the most charismatic and fun pastor on island, celebrated the legal ceremony; Shenique, at Sheque Perfection, enhanced Pam's beauty with soft makeup and elegant hair updo; Ernst, at Flowers by EA, created the stunning bouquet and boutonniere.

This is the wedding story of Denyonne and Cary: a beautiful wedding at The Palms Turks and Caicos. There is so much to tell about it that I'm lost for words. Let's start from the stunning location, The Palms on Grace Bay: in the heart of the #1 beach in the world (TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice 2018), The Palms is an exquisite 72-suite resort spanning 12 acres. Where wedding dreams really do come true… The details: Mrs Vera, the bride' step mom, personalised the wedding by creating most of the decoration, from the table settings to the bridesmaids bouquets, the ceremony details, the bride' shoes and the guests "book".

I just Googled "Destination Wedding" and page after page I found articles of the latest romantic comedy directed by Victor Levin. This blog post has absolutely nothing to do it, it's the real, heartfelt, beautiful special day of Citlani and Sal, a true Destination Wedding at Windsong Resort | Turks and Caicos. Their love story started 15 years ago, when the bride sister introduced the now newlyweds. A sweet daughter, lots of adventures, great time, ups and downs later, they chose to travel to Provo to pronounce their wedding vows on the one and only Grace Bay Beach. Good to know: wedding venue - Windsong Turks & Caicos; wedding planner: Rosalind at Cinnamon Sun Events; flowers: Other Peoples Affair; make up artist: Ann at Beauty and the Beach; hair stylist: Brigitte at Tangled Hair Salon; wedding photographer: Attimi Photography of course!

An elegant Turks and Caicos Wedding Book is travelling from Europe to Canada as we speak... final destination: Raluca and David's home. The couple will proudly treasure, display and share their beautiful wedding memories with an elegant album. In the area of technology and digital images we tend to forget the amazing feeling to hold, open, smell and feel a real book. The custom design, the silky pages, the wood cover and precious box, make happy tears appear again, the breath a little shorter and the heart a little softer. Opening a Turks and Caicos Wedding Book is a magical experience, a jump back in time, to make over and over again.
